TREVORTON — Terry E. Arndt, 65, of 210 W. Shamokin St., passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a lengthy illness.
He was born May 14, 1947, in Danville, the son of the late David L. and Mairiam M. (Coup) Arndt. On Feb. 19, 2006, he married the former Cheryl L. Tressler, who survives.
Terry was raised in Milton and was a 1965 graduate of Milton High School.
He was employed for 38 years in shipping and receiving at the former H. Warshaw & Son Textile, Milton.
He was a member of Truth and Restoration Church, Milton.
Terry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan. His hobbies were hunting, working on his Chevelle and his three dogs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, David W. (U.S. Navy) and Nicole Arndt, of Norfolk, Va., and their children, Madilyn, Shyann and Trent, and Daniel S. Arndt (U.S. Navy), of Mayport, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Sandi and Karl Stettler, of Northumberland; and one stepson, Robert J. Jr. and Beth Brennan, of California.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Truth and Restoration Church, 113 Sandhill Road, Milton, with Pastor James Kline officiating.
