MILTON — Ronald L. Spotts, 72, of Brown Avenue, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013, at the SUN Home Hospice Care Center, Sunbury.
He was born June 23, 1940, near Turbotville, a son of Edna (Hulsizer) Spotts, of Milton, and the late Robert Spotts. He was married to the former Patricia Einsig, and his death breaks a marital union of 40 years.
Ronald was a 1958 graduate of Milton High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He had worked as a crane operator for AC&F, Milton, retiring in 2002.
Ronald was a car enthusiast, often going to car shows, and enjoyed listening to music while working in his yard or garage. He was known to his friends and family for having a dry sense of humor and quick wit. He will forever be in their hearts.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter, Ronna Lynn, of Olympia, Wash.; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Midori Spotts, of South Carolina; one stepdaughter, Crystal Bierly and her husband, Wayne, of Mifflinburg; one stepson, Greg Betz and his wife, Bonnie, of Jonestown; four granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Steve Spotts, of Ann Arbor, Mich.; one sister, Kathy Cresswell, of Milton; and a special nephew, Rick Einsig and his wife, Betty.
He was preceded in death by one son, Martin Spotts.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
