DANVILLE — Marion Elizabeth Davis St. Clair, 84, of Continental Boulevard, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her family by her side.
She was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Danville, a daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Lillian (Share) Davis. She was married for 42 years to Hugh E. St. Clair, who preceded her in death on March 11, 1991.
Marion attended Danville High School.
She was employed at the Danville Silk Mill, Howard Johnson’s and later with Hanover Model Homes.
Marion enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, collecting bunny rabbit figurines and tending to her flowers, but her true love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Janice St. Clair, of Orangeville, and Thomas and Brenda St. Clair, of Danville; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Cynthia and Ronald Woodruff, of Elysburg, Carol and Dennis Hayes, of Millville, Susan Haney, of Danville, and Sally Jo and Richard McHattie of Arizona; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Virginia Davis, of Danville, Robert and Marilyn Davis, of Sunbury, and Harold “Butch” and MaryAnn Davis, of Danville; and one sister-in-law, June Davis, of Danville.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Buck and Alma “Pat” Doebler, and three brothers, Charles “Sunny,” Thomas and Kenneth Davis.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Danville.
