WATSONTOWN — Virginia M. “Tiny” Reynolds, 84, of John Road, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at her home.
She was born July 29, 1928, in Montgomery, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Murphy) Bennett. On Dec. 16, 1948, she married Robert E. Reynolds Sr., and they celebrated 64 years of marriage.
She worked at Sylvania Electric, Montoursville, JC Decker, Montgomery, and Milton Shoe and was a waitress at the Watsontown American Legion for many years.
Tiny was a life member of the Watsontown American Legion Auxiliary.
She loved crocheting for her family members, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie L. and Kerry Smith, of Watsontown, Nancy A. and Robert Runkle, of Northumberland, and Kathy R. and George Heintzelman, of Watsontown; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert E. Reynolds Jr. and companion Joyce Eichenlaub, of Clarkstown, and Dale H. and Sandra Reynolds, of Watsontown; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren: one sister, J. Joan Myers, of Eyers Grove; and one brother, Franklin Bennett, of Montgomery.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Twyla Reynolds; one great-grandson, Cole Johnson; and two brothers, Max F. and Frank E. Bennett.
Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, followed by the funeral at 11, in the Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown, with Apryle Heintzelman officiating.
Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
