SUNBURY — Mary A. Hollenbach, 71, of 328 S. Tenth St., passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at her residence.
She was born July 3, 1941, in Indiana, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Tate) Reynolds. On March 25, 1961, she married Sylvan Hollenbach Jr. who preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2003.
Mary was formerly employed as a waitress at various local restaurants and also assisted her husband in the operation of Hollenbach’s Tackle Shop in Sunbury.
She was a member of the Friendship Hose Company, Sunbury.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her cat, Angel, baking, sewing and was a regular at Denny’s Restaurant in Hummel’s Wharf.
She is survived by three children, Todd Hollenbach and girlfriend, Rita, and Dean Hollenbach and girlfriend, Penni, all of Sunbury, and Corina Kleberg and husband, Eric, of Auburn, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Robert Hall, of Roswell, N.M.; and one brother, Donnie Lee Reynolds, of Midland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by one son, Sylvan, and one brother, Eugene.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday in the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 2.
Interment will be in Mountain Presbyterian Cemetery, Lower Augusta Township.
