NEW BERLIN — Nancy Jean Fritz, 70, of 636 Front St., entered into rest at 6:56 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Aug. 16, 1942, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Fred and Bertha (Dyer) Snyder. On July 9, 1959, in Mifflinburg, she married Roland Fritz, who survives. Her death breaks a martial union of 52 years.
Nancy was a seamstress. She first was employed by Huntingdon Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, and later by Middleburg Sportswear and Tara Lee clothing factories.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden, knitting and crocheting. She loved to spend time with her cats.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Jeff Fritz, of New Berlin, and one sister, Arlene Snyder, of Watsontown.
She was preceded in death by one son, Barry Fritz.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 with the Rev. Wayne Krell officiating.
Interment will be in New Berlin Cemetery.
