RICHFIELD — Marlin L. “Dick” Haubert Jr., 72, of Richfield, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was the husband of Shirley M. (Coldren) Haubert, to whom he was married 52 years. Marlin was born on June 8, 1941, in Richfield, a son of Irene (Graybill) Haubert of Mount Pleasant Mills and the late Marlin L. “Buzz” Haubert Sr.

Marlin along with his son Curtis operated Ridge Road Garage. He later retired and did hauling for S.V. Woodcraft, Port Trevorton for 15 years, and hauled produce for Carl Wenger. He enjoyed giving candy to the Mennonite children and got a big smile from them when he blew his “train” horn.
He was a member of the Pine Grove Methodist Church, Mifflintown, the Richfield Fire Company and Ambulance League.
Marlin enjoyed reading his Bible daily, woodworking, and spending time talking with his many friends at the garage. He was a loving caring husband, and father.
