MILTON — Zella J. (Snyder) Vognetz, 91, formerly of Montandon, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Kramm Health and Rehab Center, Milton.
She was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Milton, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Jennie (Satteson) Snyder. On Aug. 26, 1945, she married Robert F. Vognetz who preceded her in death on March 31, 2001.
Zella was a 1940 graduate of Milton High School.
She was a member of the Montandon United Methodist Church.
Zella is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara A. and Gary Neuhard, of Milton; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Vognetz, of Phoenixville; four grandchildren, Michael Vognetz and wife, Dana, of Phoenixville, Sarah Vognetz, of North Carolina, Jan Miller and husband, Dale, of Watsontown, and Kenneth Neuhard and fiancé, Stacy, of Milton; and seven great-grandchildren, Isaac Miller, Emma Miller, Erin Neuhard, Jacob Neuhard, Charlien Goldberg, Dylan Vognetz, and Maya Vognetz.
She was preceded in death by one son, David A. Vognetz; one brother, Homer L. Snyder; and four sisters, Evelyn M. Snyder, Alta R. Colvin, and twin sisters that died at birth.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, where the funeral will be held at 11 with Pastor Joan Dobson officiating.
Burial will be in the Montandon Cemetery.
