Craig A. Kratzer, 40, New Columbia

— NEW COLUMBIA — Craig A. Kratzer, 40, of 3247 Ridge Rd, New Columbia, left this earth a happy man and bound for heaven on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born April 7, 1973, in Lewisburg, the son of Gary and Georgine Kratzer, of Milton. He was married to Michelle (Snyder) Kratzer, of New Columbia.

Craig was a 1992 graduate of Milton High School.  He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 1997.  

Craig was employed as vice president of Kratzer Oil Company, Sunbury.

He was a member of Lodge 370 F&AM, Mifflinburg, the Milton American Legion Post 71, the Northumberland Gun Club, and the Union County Sportsmen’s Club.

Craig will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his children, Zachary A. and Sabrina J. Kratzer, both of New Columbia; a special uncle and aunt, Steve and Andrea Kratzer; and a special cousin, Allison Kratzer.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Guy and Evelyn (Danowski) Kratzer.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
