— NEW COLUMBIA —  Mary L. Koch, 82, of New Columbia, died Wednesday morning, May 1, 2013, at her home.

Born in Milton on Jan. 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel D. and Sarah L. (Neitz) Hulsizer. She was married to Leonard R. Koch, and her death breaks a marital union of 65 years.

She was employed by the Milton Area School District for more than 27 years in the cafeteria department, primarily at the White Deer Elementary School.

She enjoyed visiting and many Pennsylvania state parks.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Becky Koch, Leonard E. and Kim Koch, David and Denise Koch and Kevin and Karissa Koch; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Gary Young; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother Russell Hulsizer.

Mary was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Hulsizer.

At Mary’s request, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the White Deer Township Volunteer Fire Department, 366 Cemetery St., New Columbia, PA 17856.
