MORRISTOWN, Vt. — Max E. Weaver, 27, formerly of Selinsgrove, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013, at his home in Morristown.
He was born Nov. 14, 1985, in Lewisburg, a son of Thomas and Lori (Yost) Weaver, of Selinsgrove.
Max was a 2004 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bloomsburg University in 2008.
Max was previously employed at the Resource Non-profit Enterprise in Morristown.
He enjoyed playing guitar and singing in his band, “The Max Weaver Band” with his good friends in Vermont doing gigs at Moogs and other various places in town. He also enjoyed nature walks, vacationing in the Outer Banks, N.C., and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed by his brother, Christopher R. Weaver, of Selinsgrove; his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Yost, of Atlas; uncle, Ed Weaver, of Palm Bay, Fla.; aunt, Diane Burns, of Sunbury; uncle, David Burns, of Selinsgrove; uncle and aunt, Robert and Billie Yost, of Sunbury; and cousins, Aaron Burns and Emily Yost, both of Sunbury, Bobby Weaver, of Palm Bay, and Sherri and Shirley Weaver, both of Tampa, Fla.; and his dear close friends, who he grew up with, David Riccardi and Spencer McFern.
He was preceded in death by a material grandfather, Robert Yost Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Emmabelle and Edward Weaver Sr.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate Max’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Selinsgrove, with Father Daniel Powell officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
