LEWISBURG — Edward B. Hunter, 85, of 111 Armory Blvd., passed away on Monday afternoon, May 20, 2013, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
A native of Minneapolis, Minn., he was born July 18, 1927, a son of the late Edward B. and Catherine (Burch) Hunter. He was married to the former Joan M. Wolfe, and his death breaks a marital union of 35 years.
Ed was a retired truck driver.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg, where he had served on the board of deacons and had been custodian.
Ed enjoyed 0-gauge model trains and was a member of the Loose Ties Train Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and their spouses, Donna Hunter Joslin and Jack Joslin, of Erie, Jeff and Renee Hunter, of Cambridge Springs, and Tom and Doris Hunter, of Albion; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six stepchildren; and one sister, Jean Weber, of California.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Hunter.
A graveside memorial service will be held in Erie at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are by the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg.
