SUNBURY — Ida Florean Bauman, 99, of Sunbury, went to be with her Lord at 9:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.
Ida was born Feb. 21, 1913, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Mae (Hopper) Weir. She was married to Charles R. Bauman, who preceded her in death on July 4, 1986.
Ida attended Church of Christ in Selinsgrove.
She was a seamstress and enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting.
She is survived by six children and their spouses, Joyce M. and Neil L. Bowersox, of Middleburg, Roslie J. Swope, David E. and Sara Bauman, Calvin E. and Judy Bauman, James J. and Joan Bauman and Ida L. and Ray Fausey, all of Sunbury; 28 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, William E. and Charles R. Bauman Jr.; three brothers, Allen, Elsworth and Harry Weir; and three sisters, Geneva Gass, Evelyn Hawk and Nancy Snyder.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home Inc., 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with evangelist Bill Dilks, of Church of Christ, Selinsgrove, officiating.
Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
