MILLCREEK — Arlene M. Millhouse, 81, of Millcreek, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Golden Living, Western Reserve.
She was born March 30, 1932, in Penns Creek, a daughter of the late Glen A. Carnahan and Julia R. (Gearhart) Carnahan Oberlin.
Her passions were her grandchildren and Bridge.
She was a member of the Bridge Association of Erie, where she avidly played, taught bridge, and was a past president and active board member.
Arlene is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Millhouse; her children, Atty. Scott Millhouse and his wife, Cynthia, of Pittsburgh and Deana R. Guillard and her husband, Don, of Lewis Center, Ohio; grandchildren, Jack Millhouse, of Chicago, Steven Millhouse, of Pittsburgh, Ella Guillard, of Lewis Center, Ohio, Amanda Dornish, of New York City, Brandon Dornish and Colin Dornish, both of Pittsburgh; and her brother and sister-in-law, Richard E. and Dorothy Carnahan, of Northumberland.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Marvin Oberlin.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Glenwood United Methodist Church, 2931 Myrtle Street, Erie.
