DANVILLE — Jack Lee, 40, of 521 Bald Top Road, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013.
He was a son of Lewis “Butch” and Linda (James) Lee.
Jack was a loving father and adored his daughters, Kyrsten and McKenna. Kyrsten is a Danville graduate and currently a senior studying biology at Gannon University in Erie. McKenna is currently a student in the Danville Middle School.
Jack is a graduate of Danville Area High School and went on to earn an associates degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Jack started and ran Lee’s Heating and Cooling for 20 years.
He was a member of the Danville Moose, Danville Elks, A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Club, and was a trustee of Rock Run Hunting Camp, and a social member of the Southside, Continental, and Washies Fire Companies among others. He also ran the Danville Fishing Derby started by his father.
Jack was an avid shuffleboard player and motorcycle enthusiast, as well as an outdoorsman who instilled a love of hunting and fishing in his daughters at a young age. Jack was a skilled cook and grill master who could make a sandwich out of anything, but was known to have difficulties preparing Texas Toast.
In addition to his parents and daughters, he is survived by two brothers, Brodie Lee, of Danville and Richard Lee, of Erie; two sisters, Cathy Lee, of Bloomsburg and Beth Ann Rodriguez, of Savannah, Ga.; his grandfather, Harry James; an aunt, Amy James; a cousin, Elda James; and his beloved four-legged buddy, Ziggy.
Jack was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elda James; and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Thelma Lee.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack’s honor to an educational fund established for his daughters at FNB Bank, 354 Mill St., Danville, PA 17821.
