MIDDLEBURG — Clinton E. Haines, 34, of Dock Hill Road, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at 6:52 p.m. from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Route 104.
He was born April 9, 1979, in Lewisburg, the son of Eugene R. Haines, of Middleburg, and Debbie A. (Taylor) Walter, of Middleburg. On Aug. 24, 2013, he married the former Kerry J. Marks, who survives.
He was a 1997 graduate of Middleburg High School and attended Penn College, Williamsport.
Clinton was employed as a mechanic/welder for PPL.
He attended Grace Covenant Church, Middleburg, and was a member of IBEW Local 1600 and the Washingtonville Fire Company.
Clint enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, trap shooting, welding fabrication and attending tractor pulls. But his greatest joy was spending time with the love of his life, his wife, Kerry.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Adam Brosius, of Middleburg; three stepchildren, Cameron and Clayton Muth and Karissa Masich, all of Middleburg; stepmother, Janie Neff-Haines; stepfather, Bradley Walter; and father and mother-in-law, Charles and Alyce Marks, of Bloomsburg; stepgrandmother, Pauline Neff, of Freeburg; two stepbrothers, Scott Walter and wife, Julie, of Sunbury, and William J. Bechtel, of Gardners; and one stepsister, Tamatha Dannewitz, of Sequim, Wash.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive visitors from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Covenant Community Church, Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Arden Steiner officiating.
Burial will be in Witmer’s Memorial Cemetery, Port Trevorton.
Contributions to honor Clint’s memory may be made to the memorial fund established in his name for the education of his stepchildren at any Northumberland National Bank office.
