LEWISBURG — Genevieve T. (Beaver) Heimbach, 77, of 1574 Sunrise Road, passed away at her home early Thursday morning, Sept. 19, 2013.
Genevieve was born in Williamsport on Nov. 26, 1935, a daughter of the late Chester M. and Althea (Karschner) Beaver. She was married to Marlyn L. Heimbach, and her death breaks a marital union of 51 years.
Genevieve attended Montgomery schools.
She enjoyed being outdoors, collecting Elvis items, crocheting, being with her children and grandchildren and their families, and holiday decorating, especially for Christmas.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Kenneth and Carm Heimbach, of New Columbia, Terry and Pam Heimbach, of Lewisburg, Marlyn Jr. and Debra Heimbach, of Duncannon, and Tena and Steve Lobos, of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren, Kenny Heimbach, Terry Heimbach Jr., Troy Heimbach, Jess Heimbach, Nathan Heimbach, Amber Lobos and Tyler Lobos; and three adopted grandchildren, Porsha Heimbach, Ty Heimbach and Daniel Heimbach. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren, Kearah Heimbach, Bianca Heimbach, Peyton Heimbach, Gabriella Heimbach, Troy Heimbach, Christopher Wilson and Jamerson Wilson, and two sisters, Althea Dewire, of Watsontown, and Evie and Donnie Pentz, of Watsontown.
She was preceded in death by six siblings, Chester Beaver, Rollie Beaver, Richard Beaver, Cleon Beaver, Willis Beaver and Pat Marsiglia.
Friends and relatives will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and again from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, followed by the funeral at 1:30 with the Rev. John H. Shaw III officiating, all from the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg.
Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
