Shirley H. Eisenhower, 88, Selinsgrove

— SELINSGROVE — Shirley H. Eisenhower, 88, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove. She was a former resident of Northumberland and Middleburg.

She was born April 2, 1925, in Northumberland, a daughter of the late Theron and Hazel (Gilbert) Dodge. She was married to Charles O. Eisenhower, who preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1993.

Shirley was a graduate of Northumberland High School.

She formerly was employed by PPL, Middleburg Hardware, Blough & Wagner, Middleburg, and the Birdies Nest at the Shade Mountain Golf Course.

Shirley was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Middleburg.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kim Jordan, of Northumberland, Barbara and William Petro, of Allentown, and Beth and Donald Anthony, of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; one granddaughter; three grandsons; one brother, Jack Dodge, of Mifflinburg; and two sisters, Sally Bero, of Allentown, and Nancy Sechler, of Lewisburg.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Ashley; three brothers, Don, K. Gilbert and Bob; and two sisters, Grace and an infant sister.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Middleburg.

Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.

Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 309 Water St., Northumberland.
