RIVERSIDE —Richard Henry Stroh, 58, a resident of Riverside, returned home on Sunday, the twenty-seventh of October.
He was born the first of April 1955 in Danville to Margaret (Rooney) Stroh and the late Henry Stroh. In addition to his mother, he is survived by son Jake, his brother Austin (wife Michelle) and their son Corbin, sister Paula (husband Sam) Couchara, and their sons Sam, Steve, and Andrew.
To know Rick meant knowing he put everybody else first. He was a joyful and devoted son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. His life’s work is embodied by being the needed person to all those who knew him.
Included were the Boy Scouts, Catholic community, cardiac patients, Camp Victory, Special Olympics, and all those he knew he could help.
He enjoyed the spirit of adventure and embraced life to the end.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Convent, 1 Montour St., Danville, with the Rev. Michael Laicha. Friends may call at the convent on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service.
