MIFFLINBURG — Judy C. Gill, 64, of Mifflinburg, formerly of Middleburg, entered into rest on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Judy was born April 4, 1949, in Glasgow, Ky., a daughter of the late Carter and Edna (Ellis) Hurt. She was married for 44 years to Charles D. Gill, who survives.
Judy was a graduate of Temple Hill High School, Temple Hill, Ky.
She formerly was employed for 18 years at Wal-Mart, Selinsgrove.
Judy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Brian Geise, of Middleburg; one son, Raymond Gill, of Middleburg; five grandchildren, Kayla Carnahan and her fiance, Dirk Bowen, Talia Romig, Alyssa Kantz, Jacob Geise and Lichelle Gill; one great-grandson, Mason Bowen; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jimmy and Margaret Hurt, of Glasgow, Ky., and Joe Hurt, of Lucas, Ky.; one sister, Joyce Hume and her fiance, Paul Baughman, of Gamaliel, Ky.; two half sisters, Virginia Spann, of Washington, and Iva Dee Johnson, of Illinois; nieces and nephews; an aunt, Ruby Ellis, of Dry Fork, Ky; and one sister-in-law, Jennifer Gill, of Middleburg.
She was preceded by a great-granddaughter, Madison Carnahan; two half sisters, Betty Crane and Jessie Garrison; and her father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Beatrice Gill.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills.
Further services will be at the discretion of the family.
