NORTHUMBERLAND — Colleen M. Kessler, 74, of King Street, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 30, 1938, in Port Trevorton, a daughter of the late Eldon J. and Lillian R. (Eisenhart) Ulsh. On April 16, 1954, she married Clayton C. “Charlie” Kessler Sr., who preceded her in death on June 4, 2002.
Colleen attended school in Port Trevorton.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post 44, and the former Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 8298, all of Northumberland.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Charles Robert and Betty Kessler, of Northumberland, Deborah J. and Mark Nolder, of Middleburg, Clayton Charles Kessler Jr., Ronald A. Kessler and John S. Kessler, all of Northumberland; five granddaughters; six grandsons; four step-grandchildren; eight great-granddaughters; seven great-grandsons; one brother and sister-in-law, Gregory and Lorraine Wilson, of York; and one sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Ronald Wolfe, of Selinsgrove.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald A. Ulsh and Jerry A. Wilson.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland where the funeral service be held at noon with the Rev. Robert P. Doll officiating.
Burial will follow in Shreiner’s Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
