Gladys M. Dressler, 76, Millerstown

— MILLERSTOWN — Gladys M. Dressler, 76, of Millerstown, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Gladys was born April 24, 1937, in Richfield, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine M. (Stroup) Dietz. She was married for 61 years to George H. Dressler who survives.

She was formerly employed as a nursing assistant with Meda-Nipple Convalescent Home, Thompsontown and retired as a domestic after many years for private homes and businesses. Gladys was a member of Turkey Valley United Methodist Church, Millerstown.

She enjoyed baking, cooking, bus trips, singing gospel songs, and keeping an immaculate home. Gladys especially enjoyed spending time with her family and preparing family dinners.

In addition to her husband, Gladys is survived by three children and their spouses, Roger L. and Doris I. Dressler, of Thompsontown, Randy L. Sr. and Melinda M. Dressler, of McAlisterville, and Debra A. and Gregory D. Goodling, of Liverpool; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deloris I. and Earl R. Moyer and Janet L. and Jack V. Riegel, all of Selinsgrove; and one niece and nephew.

Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Salvatore E. Buonocore officiating.

Burial will be made in Evangelical Methodist Cemetery, Richfield.
