LEWISBURG — Richard D. Leon Jr., 62, of Hook Lane, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his home.
He was born Jan. 23, 1951, in New Columbia, a son of the late Richard D. Sr. and June (Trutt) Leon.
Richard attended Milton High School.
He was employed in the maintenance department at ACF in Milton for 37 years and was a union representative at the plant.
Richard enjoyed motorcycles and snowmobiles and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He like reloading and hunting and was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsman Association and the Spruce Run Hunting Camp.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Danielle Leon, of Mifflinburg, and Richard III and Sharon Leon, of Laurelton; five brothers, William Trutt, of South Williamsport, Rick Leon, of Watsontown, Charles Leon, of West Milton, William Leon, of Allentown, and Harvey Leon, of Williamsport; six sisters, Sharon Engle, of New Columbia, Helen Templin, of Tennessee, Mary Shunk and Edith Syracuse, both of Kutztown, Doris Arbogast, of Muncy, and Dottie Yager, of Danville; and three grandchildren, Daylin Leon, Adriena Leon and Nicholas Leon.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, Milton.
