PITTSBURGH (AP) _ A former Pittsburgh-area youth minister has been convicted of molesting three boys.

Forty-six-year-old David Baird, of West Deer, was convicted of raping two boys and assaulting a third by an Allegheny County jury on Thursday.

One boy said Baird raped him over an eight-year period beginning when he was 10 years old.

Baird had been a youth minister at Covenant Church of Pittsburgh from January 1994 to August 2004.

Baird will be sentenced on July 30.
