PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Three more western Pennsylvania men have been sentenced to probation for conspiring to run an illegal gambling ring and launder money in Washington County.
Federal prosecutors say 47-year-old Edmond Cononge of Canonsburg, 59-year-old John Glass of Houston, and 79-year-old Manuel Lemonakis of Canonsburg were in a group involved in sports and numbers betting and an illegal ticket drawing game.
Cononge and Glass were each sentenced to three years' probation. Lemonakis got one year's probation.
Prosecutors say the men accepted bets and Lemonakis and Glass also sold tickets for the illegal ticket drawing game.
Four other men were already sentenced to probation for their roles in the gambling ring.
Authorities seized 10 high-end vehicles and $385,000 in cash and U.S. Savings Bonds in the investigation.
