OUTSTANDING SENIORS FOR NOVEMBER
Daniel Bower, son of John and Michelle Bower, of Milton, was named Milton Area Senior High School’s Outstanding Senior for November.
He is vice president of the marching band, a member of the National Honor Society, Susquehanna Valley Band, Technology Student Association, and French Club. He is also a Life Scout and is completing the Eagle Scout rank, is a World War II reenactor with Venture Crew 1941, volunteers at the Milton Model Train Museum, and is employed by May’s Drive-In.
Bower will attend college majoring in history education.
Christopher Reuss, son of Chuck and Jody Reuss, of New Columbia, is the Rotary Student of the Month for November.
He is vice president of SkillsUSA, lettered on Milton Sr. High School football team and track and field team, earned six credits from Pennsylvania College of Technology in drafting, organized a blood drive in October, helped organize the high school career fair, worked on the Habitat for Humanity Home through building trades class, and volunteers at the Milton YMCA.
His awards include freshman and sophomore long jump record holder, sophomore and junior 100m and 200m record holder, anchor for all time school record 4x100m relay team in his junior year, anchor for PIAA AAA fourth place 4x100m relay team 2013 track & field state championships, named to PA Heartland Athletic Conference All Star first team in 2x100 relay and 100m in 2013, PA Heartland Athletic Conference track & field championship 2013 — Outstanding Male Athlete, Milton High School 2013 Track & Field Outstanding Athlete Record, Milton High School 2012 Track & Field Outstanding Underclassman Award, and he is a black belt in Yoshin Ryu Jujitsu, and a blue belt in Brazilian Jujitsu.
Reuss will attend college majoring in architectural draftsman.
