Garden Hotline available once again

— LEWISBURG — Master Gardeners from the Penn State Extension will be on site at The Public Library for Union County hosting the Garden Hotline from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays during the month of April.

The Master Gardeners will be stationed inside the library and will be available to answer questions about many gardening topics including vegetable and herb gardens, insects and pesticides, weeds, native plants, composting, water conservation, plant diseases, landscaping and more.

Questions will be answered using research-based information. If additional research is needed on a specific topic or question, one of the gardeners will follow up with patrons via email, telephone or regular mail.

Additionally, a Master Gardener from the Penn State Extension will be presenting a program on Common Vegetable Garden Diseases and Their Prevention at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23.
