MIDDLEBURG -- The Midd-West High School Students of the Month for December have been announced.
Kelli Beiler, eighth grade, is the daughter of Jonas and Lisa Beiler, of Mount Pleasant Mills. In school Kelli’s activities include junior high soccer, junior high basketball and basketball club and being manager of the girls soccer team. Some of her hobbies include soccer, basketball, hanging out with friends and spending time with her family. Her future plans include attending college in the health field.
Megan Fetterolf, ninth grade, is the daughter of Ken and Joan Fetterolf, of Beavertown. While in school Megan is involved in student council, basketball manager and track and field. Some of her hobbies include volleyball, reading, hanging out with friends, watching movies and showing her animals. Her future plans include going to Pennsylvania State University for legal studies/pre-law and political science and hopefully law school to be an entertainment lawyer.
Jace Kreamer, 10th grade, is the son of John and Dixie Kreamer, of Middleburg. In school, he is a member of the cross country team, track, and National Honor Society. Some of his hobbies include running, reading, outdoor activities, watching movies and TV. Jace’s future plans include attending college and majoring in the health field. Jace also has a goal of running a marathon by the time he is 18.
Claire Sankey, 11th grade, is the daughter of Bob and Vicki Sankey, of Kreamer. Claire is active with the girls soccer team, boys basketball manager and National Honor Society. She enjoys playing soccer, painting and being with her family and friends. Her plans include attending college and majoring in occupational therapy assisting.
Jessica Portzline, 12th grade, is the daughter of Franklin and Melissa Portzline, of Mount Pleasant Mills. Jessica is a member of the National Honor Society, concert band, concert choir, vocal ensemble, jazz band, marching band and theater. Some of her hobbies are singing, acting and playing her saxophone. Jessica plans to attend Susquehanna University and major in music, business or both.
