S.U.M. Child Development Announces Availability of Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program

— MIFFLINBURG — S.U.M. Child Development, Inc., is making a free and reduced-price meal program available to all children in its Head Start, Community Child Care, and Early Head Start programs.

Meals and snacks will be provided at all S.U.M. Child Development program locations in Union and Snyder counties, including:

  • Susquehanna Children’s Center, 590 University Avenue, Selinsgrove
  • Selinsgrove High School Children’s Center, Selinsgrove High School, Selinsgrove
  • Lewisburg Children’s Center, 205 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg
  • Early Head Start Family Center, 138 Furnace Road, Middleburg
  • Middleburg Elementary SACC, 600 Wagenseller St., Middleburg
  • Midd-West High School Head Start, 540 E. Main St., Middleburg
  • Mifflinburg Children’s Center, 105 Quail Lane, Mifflinburg
  • Mifflinburg Elementary School PreK Counts/Head Start, 115 Shipton St., Mifflinburg
  • Mifflinburg Intermediate SACC, 250 Mabel St., Mifflinburg
  • Montandon SACC, 2733 State Route 45, Montandon
  • Selinsgrove Intermediate SACC, North 18th St., Selinsgrove
  • Selinsgrove Elementary SACC, 600 N. Broad St., Selinsgrove
  • Sharon Koppel Children’s Center, 139 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg

  • West Snyder Pre-K Counts/Head Start, 654 Snyder Avenue, Beaver Springs

According to Jane Campbell, executive director of S.U.M. Child Development, Inc., children are eligible to participate in the federally-sponsored Child and Adult Care Food Program according to an income scale for the household for the period July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.
