The Greater Susquehanna Valley Counselors-In-Training (CITs) recently presented Pennsylvania Cystic Fibrosis, Inc. (PACFI) with a check for $900. The monies were raised during a summer dance marathon.
“The CITs have raised almost $12,000 for us in the last several years,” PACFI President Betty Hollenbach said, “and we really appreciate their efforts in helping us to help families affected by cystic fibrosis (CF) throughout the state.”
The CIT program is a national YMCA program designed in part to teach “giving back to the community.” In addition to the dance marathon, the CITs also helped PACFI with their annual June Golf Classic.
