The IRS is offering free tax preparation help this season. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program is for people who make $51,000 or less annually and need assistance with their taxes. The Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program offers free help for all, with priority given to individuals who are 60 years of age and older. For those who wish to file Federal taxes online for free, I-CAN! E-File has partnered with TaxACT for the 2012 tax season, which means that I-CAN! now has no income, form, or state limitations. For more information or to file online with I-CAN!, visit http://www.icanefile.org.
