HACC Offers GED Testing at Two Sites

— HARRISBURG — Area residents who have started but have not finished their general educational development (GED) courses can take advantage of GED testing offered this fall by HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

“The GED test is going computer-based on Jan. 1, 2014. Once this happens, all current GED test scores will be invalidated. Now is the time to finish up your GED so you won’t have to start over,” said Robin Paulison, HACC director of adult education pathways/GED.

HACC offers GED testing at two locations for anyone who needs to take the GED tests: HACC’s Harrisburg Campus and in the Upper Dauphin area at the Northern Dauphin Human Services Center in Elizabethville.

A battery of tests is scheduled now through Dec. 17, in the Whitaker Building at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus. For more information about testing at the campus, contact Charmaine Hall at cjhall@hacc.edu or (717) 780-2619.

For more information about the GED tests at Northern Dauphin Human Services Center, contact Heather Campbell at htcampbe@hacc.edu or (717) 780-2650.
