Open House for High School Sophomores and Juniors

— SELINSGROVE — Susquehanna University will welcome high school students and their families to campus at its “Choosing the Right College” open house on April 26. The special event will help high school sophomores and juniors and their parents get answers to common questions related to narrowing down college choices, the application process, financial aid considerations and more.

The day will begin with registration and refreshments at 8:30 a.m. in the Charles B. Degenstein Campus Center, and will include a student services fair showcasing the services available to students on campus; a faculty mix and mingle so students can meet with experts in their area of academic interest; sessions to navigate the admissions process and make the most of the college search; a session regarding the financial aid process; and information on college athletics.

Campus tours will be available at 8:45 a.m. and again at lunch, which will take place in the campus dining hall. Students will also learn about unique opportunities such as Susquehanna’s nationally recognized Global Opportunities (GO) program, in addition to internships and career services.

To join Susquehanna for an exciting day of discovery aimed at helping students and their families where to begin the search for the right learning environment, go to www.susqu.edu/admissions.

There will also be important programming available for seniors who have been accepted to Susquehanna, but who have not yet visited campus.
