The Daily Item
LEWISBURG — The Packwood House Museum is now accepting donations in preparation for its annual Attic Tag Sale, which will be held Feb. 26 through March 9. The sale, held in the Museum’s Tour Center, is one of the museum’s most popular and successful fund-raisers. All proceeds benefit Packwood House Museum. Items that can be sold include books, jewelry, glass, china, kitchenware, furniture, toys, lamps, postcards, sporting equipment, craft items, holiday decorations — anything except for televisions, computers, and clothing, although the Museum does accept vintage accessories. Electronics and appliances will be accepted but must be in working order. Pass the word along to anyone who is moving — they can take all the items you decide not to take with you. All donations are tax-deductible.
Until Feb. 12, the museum is closed for winter break, but appointments to drop off items can be made by calling 524-0323.
The Tour Center is located at 15 N. Water St., Lewisburg. For more information concerning the Packwood House Museum or the Attic Tag Sale, visit www.packwoodhousemuseum.com or call the Museum at 524-0323.
