— Lower Penns Creek Watershed Association will be offering two of its popular rain barrel workshops in March. Rain barrels are useful in slowing down the flow of runoff during storm events which reduces pollution carried into our streams. They provide a free source of water for gardens, lawns and outdoor water uses. The workshops are free but there is a $10 charge for each rain barrel participants receive at the end of the session.
Reservations are required and may be made by calling the Conservation District Office at 837-3000 ext. 110 stating the workshop you wish to attend and the number of barrels you would like. The LPCWA has a Facebook page where you can learn about our other events and meeting dates.
