Interstate Tractor Pullers Coming To 2014 Beaver Community Fair

— BEAVER SPRINGS — For the first time in its history, the Beaver Community Fair in Beaver Springs will bring sanctioned tractor pulling to the week long fair spanning Sept. 14-20.

The Beaver Community Fair organization has just announced that the super powerful tractors of the ITTPA — Interstate Truck and Tractor Pullers Association, will be sanctioning pulls at the Beaver Community Fair on Sept. 16, and again as part of a big Friday night program on Sept. 19.

ITTPA is an east coast truck and tractor pulling sanctioning body that competes at agricultural fairs and venues across Pennsylvania as well as in other mid-Atlantic states including Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and New Jersey.

ITTPA pullers stage yearlong competition as part of a point series for each weight class.

The Sept. 16 program gets underway at 7 p.m. featuring the 8,500 pound ITTPA Mod Turbo class, also known to many as “Smokers”, and the ITTPA 10,000 pound Pro Farm class.

Also on the Tuesday card will be the 11,000 pound Snyder County Hot Stock class and an 8,000 pound “run what ya-brung” class for trucks and tractors combined.

The Tuesday ITTPA classes are rain dated to be part of the Sept. 19 program.

On Sept.r 19, the Beaver Community Fair welcomes the wild and wooly ITTPA 7,800 pound Modified Tractors to be part of a seven-class pull at the fair.

The Friday agenda also includes open classes for 8,500, 10,000 and 11,000 pound tractor classes as well as a 13,000 pound Off The Farm class and a 13,000 Farm Stock class.

Friday’s pulls get underway at 6:30 p.m.
