Camp Koala Enrolling for May 31 grief camps

— CARLISLE — Camp Koala is currently accepting campers for its no-cost camps for grieving children and teens. Children ages 7-12 and teens who have experienced the death of a parent, primary caregiver or sibling are invited to apply for their May 31-June 2 camps at the Carlisle YMCA’s Camp Thompson. Each camper is paired with an adult “Big Buddy”, and participate in a variety of activities, including art, music/percussion, dance/movement, expression and pet therapies, along with traditional activities such as campfires, canoeing and hiking.
