MIDDLEBURG — Back by popular demand and taking a one year hiatus, the Snyder County Conservation District (SCCD) will be host a Women in Agriculture Workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 27 at the Shade Mountain Winery, 16140 Route 104, Middleburg.
Topics include: differences between manure management plans (MMPs) and nutrient management plans (NMPs), firearm regulations, farm vehicle regulations, women in politics, state health center services and a presentation about women in the Civil War. Various agricultural and fair princesses, queens and representatives have been invited.
