LEWISBURG — The SUN Area Chapter of the American Red Cross announces the start of their annual “Totes of Hope” Program. Individuals and groups are encouraged to donate personal care items from a prescribed recommended list to several libraries in the area as well as a drop off location at the chapter office, 249 Farley Circle, Lewisburg.
Items can be dropped in collection containers at these area libraries: The West End Library in Laurelton, The Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg and the Public Library for Union County in Brookpark Farms, Lewisburg.
These are the types of donations being sought: socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, deodorant, after shave, liquid soap, hand sanitizer, comb/brushes, body powder, body lotion, fleece throws, kleenex, hand wipes, deck of cards, small notebooks, pens/pencils, pencil sharpener, crossword puzzle books, new magazines, pre-packaged/non-sugar snacks, a personal note of thanks to the person who will receive the tote is always appreciated.
