— MILTON — The Central PA Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Special Projects Committee recently announced that Kingdom Kidz Inc. will receive a donation of $ 5000 for the proposed “Clear Steering Against Distracted Driving” Program. The Kidz 4 Education division of Kingdom Kidz Inc. has developed the innovative and interactive program concerning driving distractions which is being offered to 32 middle schools (grades 6-8) in the Central Pennsylvania Region at no cost to the schools. Once 50 percent of the total program cost ($65,000) is raised, the check will be released. Currently $ 15,000 has been donated.

Kingdom Kidz has been diligently working with other community members to begin the process of reaching future teen drivers. Three aspects of the program include: professional puppetry with creative scenery and audio visual projections; a panel consisting of an insurance agent, a local police officer, and a parent whose family member experienced serious injury during a distracted driving incident.

This program has been endorsed by the Lawton Insurance Agency, Inc., Lewisburg, the Board of Directors for the Central PA Chamber of Commerce and the Central PA Business & Education Association. Currently grants and sponsorships are being receivied by Kingdom Kidz Inc. who welcomes all business and individual tax-deductible donations for this program.
