WILLIAMSPORT — Pennsylvania College of Technology’s strong commitment to veterans has earned the institution “Military Friendly” status for the fifth consecutive year. Victory Media recently announced Penn College as a Military Friendly School for 2014.
The designation is reserved for the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that demonstrate a “strong interest” in recruiting and retaining military and veteran students and provide the “best experience” to such students, according to Victory Media. The veteran-owned business is the publisher of G.I. Jobs magazine and the Guide to Military Friendly Schools.
A record number of veteran students, 345, are enrolled at Penn College for the fall 2013 semester, including 110 new students.
