— Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program 2013 provides $20 in free produce vouchers to Union-Snyder County seniors age 60 and older with gross income at or below $21,257 for a single individual, and $28,694 for a two person household. Proof of age and residency is required (driver’s license, photo ID, etc.). Seniors can only receive the vouchers once per year.

n June 5, 8 a.m. to noon, Ard’s Farmer Market, 4803 Old Turnpike Road, Lewisburg

n June 7, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lewisburg Senior Center, 116 N. Second St., Lewisburg

n June 12, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Penns Creek Senior Center, 3551 Richard Road, Penns Creek

n June 17, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Selinsgrove Senior Center, 8 N. Water St., Selinsgrove

n July 9, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., West End Senior Center, Route 235, Laurelton

n July 16, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Beaver Springs Senior Center, 55 Elm St., Beaver Springs

n July 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hilsher’s General Store, Route 15, Port Trevorton

n July 24, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lewisburg Farmer’s Market, Fairgroung Road, Lewisburg

n July 30, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Kreamer Farmer’s Market, Route 522, Kreamer

Produce vouchers will only be distributed at the above listed locations, dates, and times. For eligible seniors who are unable to come to the distribution sites, a designated representative may obtain a proxy form at the Union-Snyder Agency on Aging (USAAA).
