Snow removal schedules set

SUNBURY

The City of Sunbury will be clearing snow on Wednesday, beginning at 7 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. on the following streets: Linden Street from Fourth to Second; Vine Street from Fifth to Third; Julia Street from Front to North Second; South 10th from Walnut Street to DPW building. On Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., streets will be North Sixth Street from Race to Lincoln; North Seventh Street from Line to Packer; Miller Street; Penn Street and 13th Street. On Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. snow will be cleared from East Chestnut Street from 10th to Wolverton; Court Street from 10th to Market Street; Lenker Avenue; Keller Street; Church Street; and Haas Avenue. Remove all vehicles from these streets. Vehicles that are not moved may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

DANVILLE

Clearing and hauling away of snow along Mill Street is the primary object according to the borough's public works department. Next is removal of snow from streets where there are meters and in the municipal lots and then remaining streets in the borough as time permits.

NORTHUMBERLAND

There will be no parking on the following streets on Wednesday beginning at 7 a.m. until the job is complete: Front Street from King to Duke streets; Queen Street from Second Street to the railroad yard entrance below Priestley Avenue.

LEWISBURG

The following street cleaning schedule will enable Borough crews to remove snow and other maintenance. All days are no parking from 7 a.m. to noon, unless noted.Wednesday: North and South 6th Street; North and South 7th Street; Nourth and South 8th Street; North and South Pine Street; North and South Spruce Street; Market Street from midnight to 7 a.m. Thursday: St. Louis, St. Catherine, St. George, Taylor, Malcolm, Barton and Mill streets; Market Street from midnight to 7 a.m. Friday: St. Mary, St. Anthony and Beck streets; Brouse Addition; Ikler Park Addition; N. 3rd Street, Market to St. John and Market Street from midnight to 7 a.m.
