Lewisburg Garden Club Hosts ‘Floral Designs for the Holidays’

— LEWISBURG — The Lewisburg Garden Club will host a presentation on designing floral arrangements for the holidays on Monday, Nov. 11, in the fellowship hall at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Road, Lewisburg.

Ed Zajac, floral designer at Dundee Gardens in Hanover Township and Bloomsburg University adult education instructor, will demonstrate how to create fresh arrangements for fall festivities and permanent arrangements for the holiday season. The presentation, which begins at 1:15 p.m., is open to the public.

The purpose of the Lewisburg Garden Club is to stimulate interest and knowledge in gardening, aid in the protection of trees, plants, birds and scenic beauty and cooperate in beautifying public grounds. The organization is celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2013.
