MIFFLINBURG — LeVere Hook, president of Union County Farm Bureau, will head the official delegates representing the local Farm Bureau at the state-level annual meeting to be held Nov. 18-20 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center.
Many issues important to agriculture’s future will be highlighted when several members of the Union County Farm Bureau join with hundreds of farmers from across the Commonwealth. The local delegation will attend the three day event lead by President LeVere Hook and Harold Fogel, Guy Temple, Jim Brubaker, Mathew Ulrich and Mike Platt.
Several information seminars will feature on issues important to agriculture and topics helpful to agriculture. Farm Bureau members can attend all seminars that are of interest to them and the local board.
Pennsylvania Farm Bureau will also recognize county Farm Bureaus and many individual members for outstanding achievements during the past year.
