Packwood Still Needs Items for Attic Tag Sale

— LEWISBURG — The Packwood House Museum is in need of more donations for its annual Attic Tag Sale, which will be held Feb. 25 through March 8. The sale, held in the Museum’s Tour Center, is one of the museum’s most popular and successful fund-raisers. All proceeds benefit Packwood House Museum. Items that can be sold include books, jewelry, glass, china, kitchenware, furniture, toys, lamps, postcards, sporting equipment, craft items, holiday decorations — anything except for televisions, computers, and clothing, although the Museum does accept vintage accessories. Electronics and appliances will be accepted but must be in working order. All donations are tax-deductible.

Through Feb. 10, the museum will be closed for winter break, but appointments to drop off items can be made by calling (570) 524-0323. After this time, items can be dropped of anytime during their regular operating hours of Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Tour Center is located at 15 N. Water St., Lewisburg.
