MILLERSBURG —The second annual Trail Run for Conservation will be held Sept. 14 on the Ned Smith Center’s lands.
This 5K course will take runners along the scenic Wiconisco Creek to a portion of the Lykens Valley Rail Trail and across the pedestrian bridge. All of the Center’s trails will be open for visitors wishing to walk their own course based on length and level of difficulty. The entire day will also feature a celebration of our canine visitors who frequently “walk their people” on the trails.
Not only is the Trail Run for Conservation an important fundraiser in support of the Center’s mission, but it’s a celebration of 12 miles of beautiful public hiking trails.
