Midd-West High School Students of the Month for March

— MIDDLEBURG -- The Midd-West High School Student of the Month for March have been announced.

Cole Sauer, of Middleburg, son of Chris and Carla Sauer, was named the Student of the Month for eighth grade. Cole is involved in both junior high soccer and junior high wrestling while at school. Some of Cole’s interests outside school include watching and playing sports and spending time with friends and family. His future plans include attending college and playing soccer.

Brooke Aucker, of Beavertown, was named Student of the Month for ninth grade. She is the daughter of Christopher and Sheila Aucker. During school she is involved in sudent council, newspaper, marching band, concert band and lacrosse and has received distinguished honor roll status this year. Brooke enjoys listening to music and shopping in her spare time. Her future plans include attending college in California and become an anesthesiologist.

Dalton Yoder was named the Student of the Month for 10th grade. He is the son of Myron and Judy Yoder, of Middleburg. In school, Dalton is a member of the track and field team, cross country, choir and National Honor Society. His hobbies include Boy Scouts (should be receiving his Eagle Scout Award by Easter), being outdoors, working on diesel trucks and hanging out with his family. Dalton’s future plans include attending West Point for engineering.

The 11th grade Student of the Month is Michaela Wagner, of Beaver Springs, daughter of Robert and Tammie Wagner. She is involved in Concert choir, concert band, vocal ensemble, a capella, jazz band, fall play, spring musical, district band, district choir, region choir, all-state choir (music festivals), SU Honors Band. Michaela enjoys playing piano, singing, performing, theatre and music. Her future plans include a career in the music industry.

Brian Kelsey is the 12th grade Student of the Month. He is the son of Clark and Carlene Kelsey, of McClure. Some of his school activities include choir, National Honor Society, cast and crew of the fall and spring plays and stage manager for the middle school musical. His hobbies include reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends, traveling and singing. Brian is planning on attending Word of Life Bible Institute.
