Children can read with Ryley at the library

The Daily Item

— LEWISBURG — Ryley the dog loves to have children read to him at The Public Library for Union County and is looking for readers.

Children who may be shy about reading aloud or want to improve their reading skills can sign-up at the library to read a story to Ryley — as he never passes judgment. It is suggested that children read to Ryley once a week for six weeks.

Parents can register their children by calling the library at (570) 523-1172 or by visiting the circulation desk. Ryley’s handler, Arris Moser, of Dixon’s Dogs, will call to arrange a convenient time to meet.
