SunnyBrook Meadows Therapeutic Riding Now Accepting Students

The Daily Item

— SunnyBrook Meadows Therapeutic Riding can now accept more students.

We recently held our Semi-Annual volunteer training and it was a tremendous success. Volunteers are a necessary ingredient in our program and as our volunteers increase, it allows us to expand our enrollment.

“This is the best response we have ever gotten when recruiting volunteers” Edna Riddell, director

commented.  She went on to say, “we also have another instructor working with us, making room for additional students."

Disabilities and conditions that may benefit from Therapeutic Horseback Riding include autism, multiple sclerosis, attention deficit disorder (ADD, ADHD), Fibromyalgia, the learning disabled, head and spinal injuries and the mentally challenged, just to name a few.

With an indoor and outdoor arena, an outdoor trail and a sensory trail in the plans. we offer a rich variety of riding experiences. We are blessed by our students and thrilled (for our sake and theirs) that we can offer lessons to more of our community. Anyone interested in enrolling a student should contact Edna Riddell, Director, SuunyBrook Meadows eriddell49@windstream.net 570-547-1565.
